Anyone have any recommendations on what bags work well for co-anglers? Took a co-angler with me this weekend in a local club tournament and after helping to load about 5 different bags of his stuff into my boat I thought I'd see what others have had success with.

So, if you could recommend a good bag or combination of bags for a co-angler to use when boat hopping what would it be?

Any and all ideas appreciated.

I take one small duffle bag with just what I need for the day. I fit several Plano boxes.

When I fished as a co-angler I started doing good when I downsized and went with a small bag that held four boxes. One for reaction baits, one for weights and hooks, one for jigs and one for plastics. That's more than enough.

A medium sized duffle fits a ton of plastics, a few boxes, and all my accessories.

My normal setup is the Bronwing large toploader bag and my medium duffle stuffed with plastics, but that's all my gear.

Cabelas n the Plano kvd bags are great sizes for co-anglers and usually come with boxes as well

One bag that fits 6 3700 size boxes is more then enough. Side pouches that fit other gear and your set. Match that with maybe six rods and you've got more then enough to compete.

I've found that when I'm fishing in someone else's boat like Sessler's or Hobbs and even Mike Bess it's best if I just bring 20 rods and don't bring any tackle! and I use their tackle:)  and at the end of the day I just leave whatever I've tied on,on and I'm telling you, you wouldn't believe how much top of the line tackle you can accumulate in just a few outings.

Works for me just saying.

Can I get my 3 jigs, the triple trout, and those crank baits back please?

Sorry to late! But you could take me out fishing this Saturday! I don't have anything else going on. I'm getting low on baits and I need to stock up before the Mosses tournament.

FYI don't leave any nice rods or reels out he always has a lure or two up his sleeve so if those get attached to your rods you know the drill......

One of our club guys likes to tell the story of a Qualifier, in which his non-boater wheeled a handtruck up to his boat stacked to the top with all his tackle! Uh huh!

That was the late Bill Stricklin from Evergreen - heard the same story from Ron Mace.
