Demo day for the new Phoenix Bass Boat by Limit Out Performance Marine

I would like to express my thanks to Russell Baker for his time and effort to bring the Phoenix name and Quality to the Northwest. I drove both of the boats he had at Lake Sammamish today. What can I say but UNREAL! The Phoenix drove like a sports car on a road course. By far the best handling boat I have had the opportunity to drive. The ride was great and the fit and finish on the Phoenix is second to none. You can turn this boat as hard as you want to at 45 MPH at 1/2 trim and it turns. I mean it turns right now. It does not slide across the water or skip like a rock. The whole shot was awesome and the boat gets up on plane In the blink of an eye. The bow never even gets high enough to block your vision of the water ahead. If you did not get out to the lake to drive one today I suggest you call Russell and arrange a demo ride. This is what a bass boat was meant to drive like........

Thanks Russell I had a blast.

Mark,

Geez....you are really impressed by the new Phoenix from Limit Out Performance Marine.
So did you place an order for a new Phoenix?
Or are you going to just keep backseating Russell?

Hmm..I was gonna try this tomorrow, see if the tinner can pull a 360 @ 5200rpm's between the docks with a exit and followed by a 180 back in and jump the wave, nose stand the dock, followed with the tickle trickle 720 and a full tilt trim spin and the 900 exit to the trailer.

I also like to go between docks going about 50 then I turn around right before I hit the bank. It is awesome."

This is your experience????

Stick to the facts and somebody might just buy your story. Cloud it up with B.S. and you just bring your own credibility into question. Serious replies get serious thought. Others are just discounted.... At least to those of us that stop to think about it.

I think you are the defensive one.
I am just sharing my experiences.
If you don't like my posts you should think about EAD.

Delay,

When I first read your post the 3 other sentances werent there and that is why it did not make sense

Open discussion yes My question to you is why you are taking a defensive stance. Guys are expressing there opinions anything wrong with that???

I thought we were talking about how our boats perform.
Is this not an open discussion?

It is super stable to fish on too. I have had as many as 5 guys standing on one side and it doesn't tip at all

The hole shot is 0-60 in 6.7 seconds and it only burns 14 gph at 6,200rpms.

I think I saw the Pheonix on Samm but I blew by it so fast it was kind of a blur. I was going 85mph at the time.

Have you ever rode in a 21 ft. I class and turned it at high speeds? I can assure you I could turn that Phoenix in 1/2 the radius no problem. I would agree that not all of the big names slide. But I have yet to have ridden in one that digs itself through a turn without blowing out like the boats I drove today. Go try one and see. I was amazed.

None of the major bass boat brands slide on turns. I demoed the Ranger's at Lk Washington and they ran like they were on rails too.

Lloyd I do have a plan on a Phoenix. I am not in the financial position at this time to buy any boat of that magnitude. However I have a schedule that, if I can manage to make work, should have me in a boat in 3 years. A large part of that is paying the rest of my child support that is due the ex or I would buy one now. I am a dad first and a fisherman second. Also make it duly noted if a better boat comes along in the meantime I will have to make a decision at that time. I have had two boats previous to getting divorced and I miss having one dearly. But if I were to be purchasing a boat right now, based on what I personally have experienced in my nearly 30 years of fishing in bass boats. I would be buying the Phoenix. At this time I feel it is the best boat out there for the money. Not just because it costs less than a lot of the others but because it out performs and out accessorizes what is available out there.
Just my opinion. It ain't the right opinion for everyone. But I base it off of facts and not rhetoric and B.S.

Thanks Lloyd I appreciate the kudos. Maybe I will get lucky and stumble into some money sooner. But for now I am fortunate to have some good friends that get me out fishing often enough to keep me from going stir crazy. I am fortunate in that regard. Have a good week.

Maybe Baker will hire you as his salesman and you can use a demo boat 'till you buy one?

I also had a chance to drive both the 19 and 21 foot Phoenix boats. Nice boat. I will agree with the earlier comments. Storage looks very comparable to other boats, like my zx 250. Everything seems to be in line with other manufactured boats.

I wish I could have driven it in rough water to see how it handles. I know what my boat will do and would like to compare.

Other than the boat seems like a great option for new boat owners.

Good luck Russ and Daniel in your new Endeavors. I hope it all works out.

Thanks Mike,

We are extremely pleased with the fit, finish, and handling of the Phoenix and are finding that with the new SHO Yamaha that it is one very fast bird. 2.9 second hole shot is what we are finding with the 719, we havent run the 721 yet with the SHO.
