Awesome tip Jordan! As a bait company we try to balance "action" and softness of the bait with durability. It can be a tough formula to nail down and we usually err on the side of softness. This is a great tip that will get more fish out of one bait than rigging without it. As a fisherman - I want every bait to last as long as it can and catch as many fish as it can before I have to replace it. Thanks!

This is a super legit trick. I started using it this spring after hearing about it from a buddy of mine and it helps tremendously. I also almost always have some mend it with me as nearly always have a hudd or other soft swimbait tied on. The mend it helps exponentially for tears the hook creates at the point of insertion
