Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

As a few of us have found out the hard way, the boat launch at lake Samish has had its share of shady characters breaking into vehicles. It seamed to stop for a while but as of today was full blown back....  2 trucks were hit while they were fishing today. Just a heads up to anyone going out there.

What about the two rigs that are there most nights after dark, the s10 and the van any idea? Are they homeless and harmless? It's seems to be one or the other, sometimes both. I've fished samish probably 4 times a week after work for the last month or so and there always seems to be one shady rig there after the sun goes down. Gonna have to keep an eye on things now I guess.

I don't know about them. My friend Danny was out there and his truck got hit. He has a gray F150 with a 17' Lund. He has been out there regularly the past week or so.

Last year there was a Border Patrol vehicle parked in the lot during the summer.  I assumed it was voluntary by someone who lived nearby, but it seemed to get the job done.  The guy in the S10 has been there every time I've been there.  We haven't had any problems.  Maybe WDFW needs to be notified?

Thanks for your post WBA had bass tournament last weekend. I called county sheriff said they would add extra patrol. Don't know if it helped. I so would like these people to be caught!
