Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

This is an awesome opportunity for someone to shine. I will set up Randy with baits and a rod to take home. I will also show up and send you guys off with snacks, lunch, water or what ever i can do to make this huge for Randy.

So what ever we have to do i am 200% behind helping to make this happen. One thing though is if is to happen this weekend i need to know before Thursday because of NW BASS this Saturday. After Sunday i am free. So if we can wait until next week were golden. i can show up anytime.

Dan, does Randy live on the West side?
thanks for pointing that out i see i wrote eastside men on my previous comment on that post. They live in the Seattle area but this post should take care of my intention.

I'm up for it Dan!
Would Lake Wa be a good place to take him?
If someone coordinates a Date with Joanne Greco to take Randy fishing by July 9th, then i will donate $100 to Wafish.

A date needs to get arranged on this ASAP. If you don't have a boat, or cannot make this happen, then don't post why you can't.......just pledge a small donation to WAFISH like I just did. Money talks...even if its only $10. Rationale as to why you can't help is a waste of time. Jordan can re-imburse the hero who steps up, and/or he can invest the money into the website which is how this will become a reality.

Lets have some urgency, and get this young man a quality experience. Lets see just how dedicated the Bass fishing community is with regard to philanthropy.
kzoo ........ great then you need to contact Joanne Greco, make arrangements and let me know what arrangements you have made. also post your arrangements so everybody knows your stepping up. As long as you are able to provide a safe enviroment for Randy then that would be awesome. I just need to know the arrangements like i posted in case thing thing is going to happen this weekend. that is, i would neeeeeeed to know by tomorrow or Thursday morning because i am gone for the weekend beginning Friday AM.

Like i said after Sunday i'm free

I sent her an email and waiting back for a reply. I'll let you know what comes out of it. Dan, check you inbox, I sent you a message.
I just was made aware of this and contacted Joanne. If for some reason kzoo cannot take them out, I will for sure. We will make sure this guy catches some good fish!
We have a 20' fishing pontoon that is moored at the Newport Yacht Basin. We are more than happy to take Randy and his family out on our boat. We can fit all of them. We are available Wednesday and Friday after 4:00 pm and all weekend. We have everything that is needed for fishing but luck. We haven't been extremely lucky this year but it seems the SMB and perch are finally getting into a pattern with the improving weather. We are more than willing to take any resident experts who could possibly make this as enjoyable as possible for Randy. We have a Lowrance GPS/fish finder and everything else that is needed but somebody to help us make this an enjoyable experience as far as catching. If nobody is availale we will give it our best shot. Tom, Logan and Janice. thomaslittle07@comcast.net.....425-558-9773
Wow this would probably be his best bet due to his mobility. Maybe we can make this a joint venture. I could provide rods and tackle and knowledge of the lake, i launch out of newport as well and strictly fish the east channel.

kzoo just gave me the link to this thread. I had no idea a forum could come together like this. My heart is so touched by all of you. I read all of your posts and will respond to all of them.

I think the pontoon boat would be ideal because we can just put him in his wheelchair right on the deck and save some of his energy, it takes a lot for him to walk. I wrote Logan an email and will contact him tomorrow during the day. I can't thank you all enough for this. This is a wonderful organization and I would like to be a part of it in the future.

Even if Randy didn't catch any fish, I know he would have a great time. The weekend is best since Randy has nurses and hospice that comes a couple times a week, but I will find out what days they come.

Thank you all so much,
Joanne Greco
Randy lives in Gig Harbor and I live in Federal Way. I would pick up Randy and take him to where ever we'll launch. If you need any ore information, I'll provide it. I will know by tomorrow what day I can get Randy out.
