Take a soldier fishing July 11 boats needed

Is there anything that the soldiers need to do in advance to participate in this event or can they just show up the day of and try to get paired with someone to go fishing?

Jeff, at this time I can say if someone wants to show up we will do our best to get them out, no promises. Our normal channel of advertising to the soldiers got side swiped this year at a late date so we have been scrambling to try and pair boats and soldiers, we are close to full as of now and don't want to turn anyone away but we can only go with the known numbers we have in a reasonable amount of time to make it work. Long answer but I don't want to disappoint anyone.

Ken, we have everything staffed as of now, thank you for the offer.

Thanks for the response Willie. I actually found an old flyer from a previous year and dialed some numbers until I got a hold of someone and managed to get a spot for this weekend.

Thanks for the offer Steve. I managed to get a spot Saturday so I'll pass on going out to riffe with you, but I definitely appreciate the offer!

Willie do you-all have a roster or a way to get in contact with the solder I took fishing I for got to get his phone number and would like to invite him to go fishing again. thanks. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this my bad maners.

Airmen Darren Williams caught this 5 pound Smally at the event!! He and his wife caught 11 Smallies, 45 or so Rock Bass 5 Perch including a one pound even which was snagged by a Bald Eagle 15 ft. from the boat for a great show.... They wanted to express they're appreciation to Evergreen for hosting such a great event and to all the folks who volunteered to get them all out fishing.
