Went out to Tanwax..kinda done with Musky huntin'. Got my mojo back. Found a nice school of Black Crappie..and yes they were all well over the 9"inch size limit. Between 2 of us we kept 8 total. Got a bunch of silver dollar sized craps too. A few perch..not very big. And my buddy caught a nice 16 inch trout. And yes we kept that one too..they are planted to eat so he is gonna eat it..great day on the water. Temp was 59-60 degrees. Cool N.E. wind and 5-6 fishing boats out today..no jet skiers or water skiers. Didn't see any eagles..T.

I was in 15ft of water. Fish are suspended. 6-12 ft down. Used a green/silver specks crappiestinger tipped with 2 maggots. With a 1/16 oz jighead. Let it freefall.Watch your line to go to the left or to the right. Then a nice steady hookset..thats how we did it..Hope this helps..good luck bro! Todd
Todd,
It was great to meet you on Wed. Night. I hope we can hook up someday soon for a day of fishing as I am anxious to start learning more about fishing in this area. I don't have a boat, but I do have money for expenses. My fish and I enjoy fishing from our fishing kayaks. I am an all species year long fisherman and can tell that you have a wealth of knowledge. Let me know if you ever have room to drag me along.
