Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Cascade Musky Association has accepted Cabelas' invitation to support them at their 'Captain's  Weekend' March 6th & 7th at the Lacey Cabelas store. 8am - 4pm Saturday and 9am - 3pm Sunday.

CMA will have a table in the fishing department manned by some of the most fun fisher persons in the entire state of WA.

Stop by, tell us your musky story. Hell, tell us any story.

Cabelas has been an asset to CMA and the Tiger Musky fishery in WA and has a very visible symbol in their aquarium in the tiger muskies that were donated by CMA in cooperation w/WDFW.

Ethan Evan(Cabelas Aquarium Manager)takes darn good care of these fish and the others as witnessed by how fast they are all growing.

CMA will have some new flyers to pass out concerning the tiger musky fishery and how it relates to Washington's fisheries.

Good call Mark, you beat me to the punch. I just notice Cabelas was hosting this event and was going to type something myself. Sounds like a great event to attend.

I was doing a little on-line shopping and noticed that Cabelas was hosting their Outdoors days and didn't remember seeing anything about it posted. As I logged on WaFish to share, I saw your post pop up.... Meaning you beat me to the post...LOL

Thats all.

thanks

Just got home from Cabelas Spring Great Outdoor Days Captain's Weekend. Great time. BS with folks I haven't seen in a while and promote a healthy musky fishery. Thanx a million to Todd and Gayle Reis for their support all day Sat and Sun. And thanx Rich and Ellen and others for their help 'manning' the table this weekend.
When everyone helps just a little it sure makes it easy on the rest of us.

I couldnt believe how busy the table was Saturday...

and how much trouble I got in for buying all that fishing gear Sunday...

We had good time just hanging out and BSing with you guys. We dont normally get the the chance to just talk about "whatever" very much out side of the meetings.

It was good to see other people, including us, supporting Eyes In The Woods. I saw a couple hats and a vest with the patch on them.
