ok not a huge river fisherman but have a couple reports

first off this is hear say but the skagit river has been putting out plenty of pink salmon and many people say there limiting easily. second the stillaguamish is now open and i drove over it today hundreds of people were lining the banks and fish were boiling. sorry just thought i would share those reports imnot really into the river fishing mainly because they seem not to bite as much in the river and i hate snagging fish.

Permalink Reply by chad huffman on September 5, 2009 at 11:54pm: well i finally tried the snohomish today everyone told me its lights out. im not going to say it sucked because we caught a couple and so did alot of other people. but we did foul hook a few that had to go back. my cousin did manage to get one in the 8 pound range to bite. like i said im not really into the rivers and this is the first day out of the last 3 weeks we have failed to catch our limits. im a bay guy there biting out there and its quick limits but the fish are in the snohomish and if you know how to fish it im sure you could do alot better than us lol.; ▶ Reply to This
