Al Seibert Memorial Team Bass Tournament - February 22nd Results Added

As previously mentioned I will be holding a tournament this year in memory of Al Seibert who had such an amazing impact on the Bass Fishing Community for so many years. I appreciate all that can come and support, but if you are not able to make it please consider making a donation to CAST for Kids (www.castforkids.org) in Al's honor.

Also I have a handful of items for the raffle but appreciate anything that members can donate or anyone who can help gather donations - All proceeds will go to CAST for Kids.

Great idea Jordan, naming this one after Al.  He was one heck of a guy.  I will be bringing some stuff from PowerTeam Lures.  Look forward to seeing everyone there.  Let's make this a big turn out!

Weather is shaping up nicely for some great fishing!

Should be a good time.. looking forward to a great day out there!

Thank you everyone that came out. We had 20 boats show up to support the event. Fishing was pretty tough overall with only 1 limit weighed in. Here's the top finishers:

1. Ron Hobbs/ Mike Wolsky 10.54 (5 fish)
2.Jeff Fancher / Jamie Sefano 7.68 (4 fish)
3. Eric McCarthy / Travis Bogart 5.70 (2 fish)

Big fish Jordan Doucet 3.30lbs

It wasn't any better on Sammamish. We had 17 anglers catch a total of 11 fish with an average fish weight of 2.24lbs. Brian Henderson won it, and also had big fish, which was ironically 3.30lbs.

I figured Sammamish wouldn't have been much better Chad. Something about a temperature drop, freezing rain and wind is not conducive to an amazing bite.

Here are some pictures from the event:

Congrats Ron & Mike and thanks again for the lift! Wish we could have weighed in!
No problem Ashley, I would not have wanted to be sitting broke down waiting for someone to take me in at weigh in time.....especially if I didn't have any gloves! Taking you back was the coldest longest run of the day, but would do it again to help someone out.

Ironically? Would not same weight be coincidentally? I am still learning language but I am confusing!!!

Ashley, did u guys have fish that didn't get weighed due to breakdown? What was the cause?
Your team always does well.
Thanks Ron!

Yeah we had a couple, but had no idea two fish would have gotten us anywhere So we just skipped the weigh in and headed home. Oh well there's next time!
