Thanks guys :)
thats impressive 570.06 pounds for 171 fish that is a 3.33 pound average I'm thinking that there were more than 171 fish weighed, because the winner had a 2.993 average
Quite possible Pat. I didn't proof the numbers that Ken provided.
I dont know TIM TADLOCK , but that dude was on fire and i give him big props !
I was behind him in line at the scales and to see that 15lb bag of smallies one day 1 it was really impressive to say the least ... He fished by himself , got big fish one day one and took down the win !! Hats off Mr Tadlock :-)
So what was the big fish of the tourny? And was it a smallmouth or largemouth?
big fish was caught by the winner on Saturday with a 4.17 lb smallie. Sunday's big fish, also a smallie was 3.8 something.

Mark
A few largemouth were caught as the water temps were up this year.

Wow, when was the last time anyone caught a legit 4lb smallie on this lake? My personal biggest smallie there is 3lb 9oz, and I've caught a ton in the 3lb 4oz range.

By the way guys, Ken got back to me and confirmed it was a total of 328 fish caught. 1.67 lb average.

Chad,

The year I fished the Frostbite, Smith & Hyde had a 17 lb. bag the first day with a smallmouth close to 5 lbs. and another 4 pounder if I recall correctly. We were feeling decent about our 15 lbs. the first day until we realized we were 2 lbs. out of the lead! Made up a pound or so on Sunday with a noon weigh-in but still ended up in 2nd Place (first loser) aka bridesmaid....
