Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I've been thinking of a new format to keep things interesting at one of the next WAFISH tournaments I put on and was wondering what people thought about this:

3 Boat Team Tournament - Fish up to 3 people on your boat, and choose two other boats to enter the tournament with. Combined weight for each 3 boat team would win. Option pots for each individual boat stringer and overall big fish option. I'm thinking entry at $300 per 3 boat team + maybe two $25 options per boat. In other words entry would be $100 per boat + $50 if you wanted in both options.

Thoughts?

I like thinking outside of the box, but, with the low turn out, I don't believe this idea would work during winter. We would end up with 5 teams of three boats. I prefer the way it has been. It's a low key cold tournament.
I like the idea, although fishing three out of my boat would be a challenge in itself lol. However, I do agree with Jeff.

I think 2 and 2 might be ok

Hi Jeff,

I am not going to change my winter format, but say we did something in the fall or spring, would that be something you would be interested in?
I would be in. Something different would be fun. It would have to be at a time when it wasn't so cold.
