* * * New rule for Washington ABA * * *

Starting in March of 2016, for qualifiers, the off limit period for Washington ABA will be Monday - Thursday the week of the event. Friday will be open for pre-fishing.

Always a highly debated rule, but I think for Washington State....its a good rule given how isolated and distant the venues are.

I haven't had the opportunity to fish any ABA tournaments due to the costs associated in pre fishing and the costs of the actual tournaments themselves. This rule change has made it more realistic for me to compete and continue to support a family at the same time.

Good call Angie. I think this is a great change and will attract some new anglers. Any change that provide an opportunity to save some cost and encourage more involvement is a good one. 

Love the change! makes prefishing the lakes not so close easier and more cost effective! Anything to increase participation in the tournaments!
