You mean like the 6 bags under 14lbs that cashed checks last year?

I expect alot of hand wringing, trails of tears, and people looking to the heavens for answers after this one is all wrapped up.

I bet at least one team will dump 11-12 lbs and not weigh in, only to find the veggie packs could have been theirs!

One cast away.   One more cast Jake, just one more!!!!!  Annnd, why is everyone looking to win the veggie packs?

It was great to finally meet you.  Take good care.

Haha, very true Gary.  One cast is all it can take at Potholes.  There are some big green ulgas swimming round that joint.

Veggie packs are a right of passage.  Plus I've heard they are really fresh.

Last year was indeed a little funky, but how about the weights from 2012 http://www.nwbass.net/Results%202012%20Potholes%206-9-12.htm and 2011 http://www.nwbass.net/Results%202011%20Potholes%206-4-11.htm. Potholes in April, May and June is hard to beat!

I'm with Jake on this one and think the weights will be down again this year. With a mild winter and most areas both west and eastside having an early spawn, i bet most of the fish are post spawn and their weight has gone down, also making for a tough bite.

I predict only 1-3 bags around the 18-20lb mark and the weights falling off pretty significantly after that like last year... Someone is always going to catch them!

When was the last time you were on potholes Berto?

There's a lot of big fish in potholes someone will find a few to put together. I do agree that timing wise it's going to be a grind. Still I think it will take 20 plus to get the win. Hard for me to talk really negatively about a lake when that's the case.
Best thing about potholes though, is that even if weights are down, you are still fishing for big green ones in clear shallow water. Thats just a good time no matter what.
I agree...Hobbs, Aaron, Dana, etc will find em but it's going to be a grind I bet! Any thoughts on what the big fish will be the following weekend for the big bass tourney? I'm not aiming super high...6 lbs maybe
Anyone want to change their predictions?

The old hindsight game...I like that one.  Yes, yes, I believe I will change my prediction.  20lb bags all the way around!

jokes aside, how did it end up?

22.80 won it, 17.63 took 11th. Nice weights

It's been a while... Was just going off of what I heard and the weather/time/last year. Glad to hear lots of bigger fish.

Sounds like it was a good turn out with good bags, good to see! Hope a lot of the teams make it again for the LOM big bass tournament!!!
