Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Guys the TBF qualifiers are coming up in April and many boaters are looking for non-boater partners. Guys this is a great opportunity to learn lakes you haven't had a chance or haven't spent any time on. For more information on how to get involved in the Bass Federation give me a call at 253-863-9973 or e-mail me at russ@limitoutmarine.com

I've never fished the TBF, but I will say....if you want to get better at catching bass, then sign up as a non boater.  You won't regret it.

I know some guys have come on here "looking for partners" for tourneys.  Well.....here is an opportunity catered to you!

Where and when are the tournaments?

Last weekend of April Long Lake Spokane

Last weekend of June Lake Washington

Last weekend of August lake Chelan

Hey Russ correction on last wknd if June is on Sammamish.

That event has been changed to Lake Washington.

TBF Qualifier Series:

April 26-27 Long Lake, Nine Mile Falls State Park (camping and boat launch included in entry fee)

June 28-29 Lake WA, Gene Coulon Park ( location changed due to Lake Sammamish State Park refusal to issue use permit to hold any tournaments in June, July, or August)

August 23-24 Lake Chelan, Old Mill Park

We will be giving away $700 and $300 at Lake Chelan by random draw of all anglers who participated in all three events. Highest placing angler drawn receives $700, lower placing angler receives $300.

Entry deadline April 15, $330 includes camping and boat launch at Long Lake.

I will do all I can to facilitate matching boaters with back seaters, getting first timers on active rosters, and if needed filling spots with nonpaying "observers"

All forms and rules available at www.wabass.org

Please feel free to contact me with any questions...

Thanks for update guys.

Just an FYI for anyone going over to pre fish Long Lake this weekend, the boat ramp at Nine Mile Falls will not be open until April 15. The ramp at the 291 recreation area is open and is located just across the lake from Nine Mile Falls Park.

Keith do you know if the river has enough water in it yet to be able to run from 291 down river?

I have been assured by the park staff there is plenty of water for running as well as no problem with launching

FYI: Nine Mile Falls has approved that our anglers can access the campground beginning Thursday evening. Please place a notice on your dash that you are with WSBF, no need to pay any day use or Discover Pass fees for the weekend. We will have official printed passes on Friday. Check in begins at 5:00, drivers meeting and draw at 8:00. I would like all boats in by 6:00ish. Safety equipment will be checked Friday night, have properly dated flares, horn, throwable float, and fire extinguisher ready.

Any interest in getting in the Qualifiers? Let me know ASAP and we will try to match up boaters and non boaters.

I spoke to the park Ranger she said that the gates will be closed at night, but not locked. We can still access the park after hours (10 PM), just have to push them open and close them behind you.
