Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey Guys

Some buddies and I are heading to the mouth of the palouse river in mid may to fish for cats, I've heard that there is good walleye fishing there also.  Has anyone fished that area of the snake for eyes. and if so any decent areas and baits to try would be great.  Dont fish walleye much, Snake Anderson is coming and he has done some, but we're all probably considered day trippers when it comes to walleye.  Thanks

Sorry,I have no clue but wanted to wish you the best of luck out there.
I've been itching for the walleye bite.
If you get the new Nw Sportsman mag there is an article about fishing Lyons Ferry!! Check it out.
My buddy got the mag, has not said how the article is. NW Sportsman is the new Fishing and Hunting News, I would not put a lot of faith in the reliablilty of the article, but you never know.

They tend to fish it in the shallows 6-10' and use sideplanners. I do not have a SP so i just used less weight and longlined it. Try up by the mouth of the Tucannon.
