Ya I only tend to keep small bass from public lakes but its different when you have your own pond.lol.

I'm jealous of the 100 acre pound you have.  And everyone can do what they want with their fish.  Most on the site cringe when they see a nice bass in the kitchen.  Either way its a good looking fish.

I should note that the bass came from my own private 100 acre pond. Dont want people thinkin I take every female I catch ;)

clif, what do you mean?

Iv eaten big bass and little bass. Pretty good either size. I like to soak the fillets over night in salt water. Taste like a walleye when you fry them up

I hear the little ones taste better, like 13-15 inchers.  The big females don't taste very good because all their good tasting fat goes to making thousands of eggs to make more 13-15 inchers that you can eat.
