I caught it a few weeks ago. Columbia River. About 8am in about 8' of water on a Super Fluke. I was in shock when I first saw it in the water. My dad and I weighed it had some pictures taken, measured it. Talked to a game biologist who just happened to be down at the dock. We debated on getting it to a certified scale just because it was well over 8, but 8.75 is the state record and I was confident that my scale was correct and it was short of the record, so I didn't want to risk killing it. It was 23 inches long with an 18 inch girth.
