I think your were using your secret bait.  Everyone, here it is... he uses an 8 Ball from his pool table with treble hooks glued on, smeared with smelly jelly.  I've deduced this based on the gut shot above

Funny stuff Zach - that was the downrigger of the trout guy that loaned me his shotty spring loaded scale to weigh it on initially. That guy just about crapped himself - as did I. His scale was a bit off as it read just over 11.75lbs.
