I haven't posted on here in years since moving and joining the army. I recently took a short trip back up to Washington for pre deployment leave. Did a lot of swimbaiting and landed this chunky female on the 3:16 wake. next day lost a double digit fish on a Savage Gear line thru. It was a good trip even if this is the only fish I landed. Hope all is well to everyone.

Sparky, I hope you're not a cubs fan. and if you are, they are playing one hell of a season. Its okay though, cause the birds swept them.
The pictured fish measured 24 and 3/8 inches.
Thank you everyone for the kind words and the support. Didn't get a weight on her, I'm thinking low to mid sevens. The DD on the other hand, ate the bait as it was skipping under a dock. I watched it eat it, and also saw it about 4-5 feet away from the tube, it was every bit of ten. It made the fish pictured look like a dink. unfortunately, its pretty tough to handle big fish from a tube, especially when you're trying to keep it from heading back into the dock. It did a very slow swim away after it broke me off. I watched it wake for a good 20 meters into the same dock. Pretty much giving me the finger the whole entire time.
Congrats on the new PB Spencer! Thank you for your Service
Nice catch spencer !!
Huge fish from a float tube, on topwater to boot. You'll remember that one. What did it weigh ? You get a good look at the DD?
Great job, a toad for sure. Thanks for your service.
