Here is the description on that rod; talk about versatility:
This is one of our most versatile warm-water spinning rods. It has a fast taper which gives you a positive hook set as well as more casting distance. The extra length provides better line and lure control, especially in deep water. It’s a nice rod for the spin angler fishing jerk-baits. It’s great for "split shotting" small lizards and worms. If your preference for walleye or bass is spin over cast, this is a good light spinnerbait and crankbait rod. It is extremely versatile and will handle all light saltwater flats species and thanks to our proprietary IMX technology it's light and very sensitive.

If you switch boats, and decide to go with a loomis I'll make you a good deal on a brand new SJR 782imx which is a great all around rod. Loomis rods are lighter and more sensative, and you can't beat their waranty program.

did you compete in the tourney? I was wanting to go but had motor issues. I have the motor issues out but have a couple gaskets to replace... then I'll be out again. hopefully I'll get it fixed this weekend.

yeah I saw that on walakes. good luck. even if those guys are right about the NADA thing, I wouldn't worry to much about it. the guy may dicker down a bit for you, but from what I have seen, the blue one is still one of the nicer ones in that $5k range.Delete Comment
