Reel Service

I wanted to let everyone know we have a great local reel mechanic.  Johnnie Wilson has become a good friend and he recently serviced two of my Daiwa reels.  I was there hanging out while he did it and it was truly like watching a surgeon in action.  He was meticulous and careful with everything.  I am pretty sure he does at least Shimano and Daiwa reels proably Abu too. He can handle repairs, routine services and even quick cleans.  I have 2 more reels I am going to have him service when I see…See More

The Time is Now

I think something needs to be done or we are all going to see the bass fishing community as we know it crumble.  Participation is already down in competition on all levels.  People are already scrambling to make it in their personal lives, at work, in their clubs... A $70 fee on top of the $24 cost of a tournament permit is going to change club level fishing drastically and I imagine it will impact the level of ABA and NW Bass.  The state has already made clear that they pretty much demonize…See More

Tournament Fishing in WA

Now I have been thinking about this for a while and discussing some of these things with some close friends, but I think it's time I bring some of my thoughts to wafish. I hope this won't turn into a rambling mess.As a second year tournament director on the club level I am realizing just how much things don't make sense when it comes to tournament fishing in WA state.  Some of the main things I am noticing are; clubs are suffering from low active membership and participation, there are numerous…See More

Christmas Is Coming!

So it's that time of the year again.  What are you guys hoping to find under the tree Christmas morning?  I'm also wondering what is the one bait you are most excited about throwing next year? For me I am hoping to get a new housing for my GoPro camera so I can make some good videos this coming year.  Mine got scratched this last year riding around carelessly in the boat. The one bait I am most excited about throwing this next year is the Huddleston 68 Special.  I just started throwing swimbaits…See More

Learn Lake Washington Bass

Hey everyone. I would like to thank Jordan since I'm new to the site. Everything I have read is very helpful and makes me really pumped to get out on the water this spring. I am kinda new to fishing the West side of Washington, but am not really new to bass fishing (have been doing it since I was 13 now am 19 mostly, on Potholes and Moses and some of the seeps in that area). Would love to spend some time on Lake WA in the back of someone's boat since I'm not really able to devote the money or… Continue

Thanks P.J. We just released our products on the first of February. We're working on advertising. It's hard to advertise actually. Ron Hopkins Jr. is right, small businesses don't have a lot of advertising due to cost or lack of money when they first start. Good news is Tackle Warehouse is starting to carry our 6" swimbaits. They'll get their first order this Wednesday and hopefully people will start knowing who Got"em Coach Tackle is. Thanks again.

P.J,

My buddy caught a 6lb4oz largie at Burkett last Wednesday, and a handful of quality largies up to 3 1/2lbs Sunday. So it isn't completely fished out yet! It's funny everything he has caught has been green.
