what u lookn to fish for? and u usn a boat or bank? im new to the sound airea as far as fishing but verry good at inshore and deep sea grew up doing it in oregon but moved to wash. i moastly fish in west port and i have done verry good int he past every time i go i end up with a good haul and i fish from the pears all the way out to the end of the jetty when i have a boat avail. and ill usualy just walk down the jetty and pitch jigs and use squid heads when i get out twards the end of it and in deepr water usn 25-30 lb with a circle hook tied up on a 7-8 inch leader of about 20-25 lb pline then tie that to a 3 way heavy swivle with about 2-3 foot 10-12 lb drop line "so if u get cought up in the rocks u can break the weight andoff and not loose ur entire set up" with a 3-4 oz weight depending on tide rip or water chop and pitch it out about 40-50 feet out let it hit bottom then let it sit and i kill the lingcod cabizon and bass with this in the summer and i usualy will use a 8 foot med/heavy bait caster so i can keep the big lings out of the rocks and not break off. if u want any more info or want to hook up let me know i am always up to fish! and i got pics of me in org with fish iv cought and a cppl in west port.
