Canals in Bellevue - Really "private"?

Was out fishing last week and noticed a sign on a pier in the opening of the canals, "canals are private" or something like that. Are the canals truly off limits or are they just discouraging entry? It seems to me that it on a water like Lake Wa, you wouldn't be able to cut off access anywhere there is water on the lake.See More

Clubs - Puget Sound

I am looking to become a member of a local club this year. I want to expand my knowledge of bass fishing and possibly fish a tournament or two. I am located in Bothell and know of Rainier, Western and Borderline. Ideally, I could fine one that has meetings "near" my home, but location isn't a deal breaker as I travel I-5 from Seattle to Bellingham and all of 405 and 167 for work. I need assistance on how to choose a club and then how to actually do it...thanksSee More

mid depth cranks

what are folks using for mid depth cranks? Mid depth to me is 10-15 feet or so. I need something to crank the outside weed edges. Locally, I am having no luck finding much, either shallow runners or dt6 depth baits is all I am finding.See More

How do you carry spare fuel?

Will be hitting up Lake Roosevelt in late June and want to figure out how to have access to fuel on the beach (at cabin) and in the boat if we decide to make a long run. Any recommendations of fuel containers that would carry 5 gallons and be ok to haul on the boat and in back of a truck?See More

Fall bassin', Lake WA

First year with a boat and have had some decent luck on Washington and Stevens. It is so weird fishing from a boat versus the bank...Here recently, I haven't been able to locate smallies on Lake WA. I have however been slammin' the greenies on the north end of the lake. I am headed out on the water tonight and later in the week and am hoping for some guidance on what to look for in a location that will hold fall smallies. I am a guy that likes to figure spots out on his own, but ideas on depth,…See More

I need help with Lowrance elite chirp 5 finder in the bow

I have one of these mounted at the bow, running off of my trolling motor transducer (Minn Kota Terrova). My issue is that I am constantly getting crazy depth readings. I was out this morning and had to shut it down and restart it no less than 5 times to get it to work as in give me an accurate depth (I was out just over 4 hours). In addition, I just cannot seem to dial it in when it is working. The screen is constantly showing a blob of junk. I go back to the finder on the console and I see a…See More
