Went last Saturday , hooked 2 ,never got them to the boat .another boat hooked 1 , same story. It is getting better all the time as long as the river stay's down
Rob- Won't be able to make it down tomorrow morning. Keep me posted on the next trip though. I should usually be able to make it...I just have a thing tomorrow. By the way, I caught me my first real big fish today. 5#6oz at Lake Terrell. Feeling pretty good about that. Learning more every day. Matthew

boat trouble! went out sunday,river is still a little high but it is fishable. we didn't catch any, but one boat got a 60", that was all I heard of being caught. Hoping to go this weekend if I get boat parts
I've broken off ,straightened hooks, broke rod's, reel's and just about everything on these fish but they will test you and your gear. Largest one so far is about 13'
once I started targeting them I went to heavier gear. They are too strong in the river with the current and all. I brought over a hundred to the boat this year, most were too big.
