So what are your favorite/go to spinnerbait configurations for summer? I've always thrown essentially white or white/chartreuse with either double willow or single bronze colorado blades. I'm trying to dig into this method a little more and am curio…
I'm toying with the idea of going to this tourney. I need a non boater as WCCT can't make this one. If anyone is interested let me know. It's an awesome lake with pig largemouth.
So here are a couple of structure scan screen shots I took on Banks over the weekend. I also took some of bridge pilings and what not on the Columbia that are pretty awesome. I'll post those later on.
This is a large rockpile/ridge that typic…
Hit Banks Lake this morning and caught two and had one come unbuttoned at the boat. Water temp a smoking 34.5 degrees. All the fish were from 50'-60'. Here's a cruddy camera photo of the first one, I didn't spend a lot of time with getting them back…
Who's fishing the Nixon's Moses Tourney? I was talking to Priester about my boat today and he said it is filling up super fast. Should be a fun one and I like the two week off limits that they implemented this year.
WCCT and I will be there for ou…
well you didn't miss much..
water high and cold. hell i found smallies on beds still.
i'll be over again come the jamboree. maybe you'll be done by then. i know my buddies kid is working for gebbers there and is on 12 hour days now cuz the harvest.
take care.
Shawn, that is an excellent choice for what you want. Another rod that works great is the Senko Special rod, and of course it doubles as a great Senko pitching rod also! If you want to go top of the line, then the EXC 704 (XMG 50 rod) is the best on the market. The graphite handle is great for wet winter days as well.
Sportco in Fife usually has the best selection, and you may be able to find them at Outdoor Emporium in Seattle as well. I would call them first to see if they have them in stock. You will love these models.
Hi Shawn,
Was that your new Triton at Washington today? Silver and green? I think it looks awesome. I have never seen that color scheme. Maybe I am partial because my company is Platinum Roofing :-) but it is super unique. Great job.
Have any luck out there today?
