The idea has come up at WSU bass club meetings to host a College Tournament on Wallula (Columbia Point Marina) this summer (July 31st looks like the only open date). I've gotten some interest sparked among the college teams, and about 10 teams have…

A couple of months ago I was fishing from the shore and happened upon a crankbait. A Mann's 15+ to be exact, with no paint, covered in dirt, and rusted of hooks. I picked it up and said, hell, I should repaint this. So I did. Too bad I didn't make…

I am taking an english/positive psychology course (not my choice...)at WSU and have to do a research paper. If you guys could fill out this survey ASAP, it would be a huge help. It should only take about 10 minutes and be fairly simple. If there are any questions or concerns, please pm me. It is for anglers of all levels, etc.

Nope, not the first, the second. The first was on the same trip though. Too bad catching that smallie in 30 feet of water on a walking bait was way cooler.

Hey Zack,
Have you seen the study done by WSU called "PREY SELECTIVITY AND POPULATION DYNAMICS OF A LENTIC FISH COMMUNITY, TWIN LAKES, WASHINGTON" If not check it out, theres a great powerpoint presentation on it and it really lays out the diet the LM eat during different seasons of the year. Very helpful!!

Hey Zack, I tried to post a reply to your post but it wouldn't let me. The fish should be at the end of the spawn or it should be over. When are you headed down there? If you are going in the next month check out the shad spawn around the floating tire reefs around the marinas or use frogs in these same tire reefs the largies suspend around these and eat the shad. The tires are over really deep water but the fish still relate to them.
