im new to this site, in fact this is my first attempt at joining and participating in such a site. im in vancouver wa and ive been to Silver Lake, in Cowlitz county about x6 times. this lake looks so good, but i have had only limited succsess here. have the carp ruined this lake? is it over pressured? im giving it one last chance for the fall bite next weekend. anyone have experience here in the fall? any pointers?

We started fishing the Southshore of the "Trench" in the lower basin of
Lake Chelan today to catch a dandy laker to start the day. The bite was
slow so I decided to go deep or go home..
Glad I went deep..The bite was real steady in the heart of the trench
for laketrout in this location. The Ace Hi-fly baited with the "Secret
