The 2018 BASS High School season starts on the Columbia River September 30 and October 1st. There will be a four tournament series with the top two qualifying teams moving on to BASS nationals to be held summer of 2018. Washington State, PETA and the Lakefront home owners associations are trying to get a TOTAL lead ban in the law, HB 2241 is a bill that will ban lead fishing tackle, it was read into session on 01/10/12 and has been sent to the Environmental Committee for action, it will pass there and come up for a vote.
