With the water level being drawn down this year (2009), the concrete boat launch is terrible. We tryed launching off to the side but that wasn't happening (mud). Me and my friend Kyle Robinson renovated the boat launch together the morning of 7-4-09. It took 1.5 hours of back breaking labor. We used all the surrounding rocks, and boulders, and built up the HOLE that was after the concrete planks end. No joke this was a 10-16 inch drop. We were walking in the water with our shorts rolled up to our junk at 6am LOL. Many rocks and after leveling, heres the RESULT. It seriously needed another 15 minutes of work, but we were beat. Its GOOD ENOUGH ;)

We fished from about 7:45-3:30 pm. It was a tough day, only one bass was caught by me, 2-11 on a frog. Its a completly different lake than it was last year. The open water spots now have crud/cheese floating on top of it, and using a non-weedless lure will be very tough. If you like fishing weedless topwater this is the lake for you. C&R

That hole was from YEARS of powerloading boats, but you can't blame them people, I do it too. Just doing our community service. We used alot of rocks from Behind the Hole, so now its alot more level, and my boat floated off before my Van tires went off the Concrete. Take it SLOW, and you'll be fine. If the water level drops anymore, you may need 4wd depending on the LENGTH of the boat.

Oh ya, I wanted to add. My friend didn't even have sandals so he was walking on jagged rocks all day long. I did 75% of the work. Hope you guys like it.
