David, don't go to a lot of trouble because who knows how much longer I will continue to even use Nextel; as soon as something better comes along or as soon as they decide to upgrade their Android phone OS, I will be switching.

I have the Nextel Direct Connect version of Android. It is the first OS that Android came out with, and Nextel will not upgrade the OS.
