Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hi,

My wife and I recently moved to the Tri-Cities from Kansas. I run a Nitro Z9 and fish as much as possible! I look forward to reading this forum and hitting you guys up for questions as I learn a new area to fish. I also like to compete in tournaments and I am looking for a couple good trails to fish.

Thanks!

Welcome! You just happened to move right next to one of the best bass fishing spots in the northwest. The Columbia, Yakima, and Snake rivers come together right there and provide miles and miles of top notch fishin grounds. Check out the ABA, and NorthWest Bass tourney series, both have an east side and a west side series, and they culminate at Tri Cities with a boat up for grabs.

There are alot of top notch anglers who chime in on this site(I'm not one of them), so let the questions fly, and there are usually several folks who are willing to help out.

Best of luck!

welcome dude!well to start off, your in a good area for smallmouths and waleyes!!! plus potholes is close for awesome spring largies!!! welcome welcome!!!

Hi Brad,

Welcome, you moved right into a bass mecca. Go vistit Columbia Point Marina. This world class facility is where most bass tourney's on the Columbia launch. Then from there you should go to Kennewick and visit Wholesale Sports and Lunkers. There are many baits and techiques that work very well on this water but there is a dominate bait that comes from a dominate bait company. In fact this bait company has several dominate baits. If you would like an education in regard to this bait company you can ask just about anybody that lives and fishes in the area. I cannot tell you about the bait company until after somebody else does. I have been sworn into secrecy. I will tell you about Bass Kickin Baits though. you should take a good look at their baits. They are produced in the tri cities area. The other bait company now recides in Walla Walla. Good luck in your quest to gain knowledge of this great bass fishing community. There are several world class anglers in the area you will hear their names constantly so i don't really have to elaborate. Oh yeah go to Walla Walla and visit Nixon's Marine.

I personally use and promote Sniper lures every chance I get, that guy that makes them has it figured out, and he is an asset to Bass fishing in our region. Pick up some snubs or bolts and hang on, they flat work. Dan Johnson said:
