Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I've noticed that there is alot of different stand up Shakeyheads out on the market.  I've used a few and haven't found one that I really like.  What stand up shakey do you like to use and with what soft plastic?  I've only really used a trick worm with a gammy shakey.  It was fun during the spawn to catch em on something different, but I haven't found a good stand up that I have confidence in.

I like a buckeye lures Spot remover jig head with a big bite squirrel tail worm.  Honestly I dont fish it alot, but in certain circumstances it has produced well.  One of those being sight casting to cruising largemouth.

I got to see these in the tank at ICAST.  I have not personally seen a shaky head that stands up any better.  Very impressive.

I have used the Spot remover screw on shakey head when I throw it but I do not throw a shakey head a whole lot except for on beds. I would rather use a drop shot for open water fishing.
