Reminder........everyone will need a discovery pass upon entance to the park. Please park in the back where we will be set up. Even if you dont fish it, come down for free lunch, and a raffle that is off the hook! All our proceeds help us in our Take a Soldier Fishing event in July.

Actually You don't NEED a discovery pass. However if you don't have one the parking fee is increased by 10 bucks. probably best to get one tho.

What's it going to take to win this?

Big Fish?

I know that's how it used to be; however, there were new signs up that stated you need one upon entry. I didn't check to see if you could still add it on to your launch fee at the machine??? I don't know why there would be signs stating you need one upon entry when you can purchase a one day discovery pass through the machine? Just another loophole for the state to make money off us?

Weather report is for 30% chance of showers, and highs near 50.

I would say 11.25 to win, big fish just over 4lbs.

Am I being too optimistic? Maybe. Maybe not...

I know there's gonna be alot of good sticks gettin' after it, so really we could be looking at a couple of bags that surpass that.
With that $1000 big fish pot, I think alot of folks are gonna be swingin' for the fences all day.

Big fish will weigh in at 4.10lbs and winning weight will be 10.20

3.6lb big fish

9.7lbs overall

Based on my success out there this year I was hoping the winning weight would be closer to 4.5lbs for two fish.

There is an option to buy a one day pass for $10.00 at the launch pay station.
When you drive into the park they have the old cash or check box sitting right in the road, the electronic pay station is set up in the back of a state truck near the restroom area unless they changed it in the last week or so.
Discovery pass is required and they will be checking, it's a $99.00 fine if you don't have one.

Nice guess!!!!

Thanks for such an awesome tournament guys!

Congrats Mark and Austin on the victory. Jordan should win a prize for his guess! There seem to be an absence of quality fish weighed in this year (2.5-4lbers). The biggest fish I caught all day was a measly 15" fish, mixed in with my 12" fish. I have to say this was a first for me. Years ago the 12" fish were no where to be found in the winter. We always suspected they were out deeper then the quality fish (60-70). Maybe a lack of quality fish in the lake has allowed the smaller fish to inhabit the prime wintering locations? It seems like this is what Lake Washington is going through also.
