I know for sure that they eat 6"-8" plastic trout :)

They only eat stockers.  They don't eat anything native, and they certainly don't eat any developing or outbound smolt.   Just stating the facts.

But only in Southern California...the waters to cold in Washington State for bass to eat trout;-)

They eat them on Whatcom, I've seen the trout jumping to get away and the wake the bass makes chasing them, by the way great post Joel.
