Are you sure it's still free? I know that is was free til' Memorial Day... Now sure about it being free now...

But there is no real opening time I believe.

The City of Bonney Lake was having issues with the "Bollards of death" but I believe they are working now.

If not,I can only assume that they would have someone out there collecting funds. I can't imagine the city not making a healthy attempt to make some money. I'll be heading up there later this afternoon and will have a look. You can also call the city/parks of Bonney Lake if you need the info ASAP.

As for operating hours-its an automated machine and is open 24/7. North Tapps is a little cheaper but gets pretty busy on the weekend,so arrive early

Went musky fishing at Tapps, had a look at Allan Yorke and the bollards are working,$8.50 to drop in and another to take out. $17 total for the day, kind of pricey.

Good luck out there

ya found out that on friday

What? only that much? We were told that it was 17 both ways?

I've been known to bounce Welfare checks
Are there any free launches on that lake? I guess they got the Musky guys by the ba*** I gotta tell ya I'm not paying the gas and the launch fees to go out there for a dink fest unless I have to!  If they wanted to draw more curious anglers maybe looking to hook into a Musky and catch some bass they would have reasonable launch fees you'd think.  Seattle park's ramps on Lake WA are up to $10 and I think that's insane.  Don't even bring up Coulon that's just wrong how much they charge for that launch.  What do you guys think about these launch fees?  They seem to be increasing and I don't see a lot of input going back in.  Sammamish got new docks which are very nice, but besides that I have not seen a ton happen as far as improvements.  I know Magnuson raised the fees years ago to redo the ramp and they just made it worse and they keep raising the fee.  The gas, licenses, and now launch fees topping nearly $20 in some places are really making this a rich man's sport and I think it's getting kinda outrageous.  Why are lakes over here not akin to those on the east side where there is at least 1 or 2 public state launches that are free and all you need is your annual parking permit that comes with your fishing license?  I know Kenmore has a state launch that's gravel but one could imagine since it's such a large lake it should be possible to have one more centrally located for everyone to use.  I'm sorry for the rant, but being on a budget I was just wondering what some of the fees were at other lakes around the different parts of the state.
No damn doubt Clif and PJ...tho my fuel is my legs, but still, it's getting out of hand for some. I refuse to pay for any launch
I buy an annual pass for Coulon every year and it's $100 for non-king county resident, less if you are from King County. I probably fish Lake WA 20-25 each year. That makes the pass dam cheap, not sure why more guys don't do it.

Mike I actually have a pass for the Seattle Park's Ramps because Magnuson is 15min away from the house and when the salmon start rolling in I'm out every day in Shilshol Bay.  It too was $100 and that is a good option for those of us that are VERY avid users, but I think in pursuit of growing the sport these launch fees don't help especially if over a period of time they don't improve the experience of launching my boat.  I know some of it has to do with real estate on developed lakes it actually costs quite a bit to own the park and maintain it...

We donated to the parks  launch fee & state park fee yesterday , and NO it wasnt worth it !!

Mercer island has an annual pass for $40.00, same price for everyone according to the city of Mercer Island website.
