All,

I need to replace my Fulton Magnum Series Boat trailer jack.  It says its 1000 pound capacity on my 20 1/2  foot Basscat Cougar trailer. I think its original. Was thinking of going with the 1500 lb version, but not sure if there really is a benefit.

I have also checked out what is currently available, and see a lot of these Fulton F2 two wheel jacks. When I saw them, my thought was, how would those do in a gravel or dirt area. The wheels look very small relative to the standard jack, and I could see them being difficult to roll except on flat concrete, and was wondering if anyone had an opinion about the Fulton F2 Jack.  Any other opinions or experiences are welcomed.

TIA,

Steve

Steve,

The F2 jack is a good jack , however it does not roll in gravel.
