This is a great change for BASS Nation. I'm still not sure why there aren't more West Side guys fishing BASS.
Im still not sure why more guys in general aren't fishing this. Or to try it at least once. If more boaters participated, more co-anglers could compete and learn thereby actually growing the sport where other activities fall well short of growing anything. To get new blood in tournaments, and new blood buying boats, they need the confidence and experience that this format provides.

Boaters get a pro style format that is not a team tournament...so if you really want to test yourself without any fingers to point, or being considered a rider of your partners coat-tails... then this is it.

Super inexpensive compared to other formats as well...
Good points for sure Jake. I think it's more of an East Side/West Side deal. There aren't many East Side guys fishing TBF just like there's only a few West Side guys fishing BASS. There are great opportunities for both circuits.

In the end, I really like the fact that WA BASS Nation doesn't have any off limits. I like to show up and get 3-4 days of practice right before the event. This also keeps the expenses down.

I was unaware of the no off-limits.  That really changes things for me, I don't get many weekends to fish anymore and not having to burn two weekends is huge since these are all eastside tournies.
