Congratulations, gentlemen!  Awesome work out there.  It's about time Team America won some money on that pond!

Way to catch 'em...

Thanks to Russ and the limit out crew for putting this on. We had narrowed the fish down to a particular pattern and had one of the most epic days we have ever had on Moses Saturday. Big props to Chad for the countless hours on the lake over the years. He was literally calling our shots. Sunday was tougher but still productive as we landed multiple fish over 4lbs. We were surprised that a 4.74 took it down with how many big fish live in Moses, but given the post spawn timing we caught a number of skinny 4's that a month before or after would be 5's, I'm sure we aren't the only ones to experience that. Still very grateful of course that it did the trick!

It's worth mentioning that we very much enjoyed the shootout format and no hourly weigh ins. Being able to focus on fishing and not worrying about getting beat with a slightly bigger fish for an hour, running back and fourth and playing the "who has the bigger fish" game at the dock made the days more enjoyable. I know others like the hourly deal, but its not our favorite for sure.

I know Russ and the crew has a few new ideas for next year, curious to see what they end up on but from what it sounds, it should be pretty cool.
Can you explain a little what the shootout format consisted of?
How was the turnout?
The shootout format for this event was structured so that each team brought in their biggest fish at 3pm to weigh in. The teams with the 10 biggest fish went back out for day two and no weight carried over. Biggest fish of day 2 wins.
