Hey all, just wondering whats working this time of year?  I spend most of my time on the smaller lakes of 400 acres and less.  I have caught some on topwater and some on senkos.  What are you using?

2nd on the senkos, but also any kind of creature or grub texas rigged. Also, don't be afraid to throw a spinner bait on a cloudy or windy day. I like big heavy (1/2 oz +) with a gold colorado blade and a black skirt in stained water, white skirt in clear water.
Carolina, dropshotting weedlines for smallies. Spinnerbaits. I like jerkbaits and Texas rigs.
dropshoting senkos, sweet beavers, jerk baits and lucky craft sammys all worked for me today
All of the baits mentioned are good this time of year, especially the Senko style baits.
However, if the fish move back into the weeds, like reeds and brush, then flipping makes its come back. I love to flip and pitch this time of year. Even though top water, spinner baits, etc. work well, the fish have been known to shut down and stay tight.
I use (2) baits exlusively; the Yo Mama and MAD BASS 5" Flipping Tube.
The Yo Mama is similar to a sweet beaver style and the MAD BASS tube is longer than normal w/ a lot of scent. (garlic and craw)
The Bleeding Green Pumpkin is best color in the tube, get more strikes. The Yo Mama, W/M Red, Watermelon, and Pumpkin Seed/Chartreuese.
Lastly, if the fish are still out in deeper water, a deep diving suspended crank works well in trout, perch or blue gill.
Good luck and success
