Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I just bought an older Triton TR20 that I'm switching over from 24 volts to 36 volts.  I'm trying to squeeze in (4) group 29 batteries, a new (4) bank charger, oil tank and spare prop.  I want to lay everything out the best way possible and need some advice.  If anyone has pictures of their creative layout I'd appreciate it.  Thanks....Chris

Can you post a picture of the battery/gas tank compartment so we can see what you're working with?

Don

I say put em where they fit :)

Do you need to store the prop in the battery compartment Had pretty much had the same problem with my  tr21 .Once i found a  box for the prop and stored it  in front compartment there was all kinds of room

@Robin I don't mind having the prop in the back because it's easy to remove if I need to access the bilge. I was basically trying to figure out how to keep from having a fourth battery on the hinged bilge lid.
bbc is probably going to be the spot where you can get some solid replies on the triton forum.
I would put the oil reservoir on top of the lid and put your fourth battery where that was.

And get at Stealth 1 charging system.  It will handle all your batteries (and more) and is small, lightweight, waterproof, and can even be mounted on the compartment lid or on a bulkhead.  Plus it charges your trolling motor batteries from your outboard.
