I have a bent shaft on my motor guide trolling motor. I would like to know if anyone ever replaced a shaft on their own and is it hard to do? Also, where is a good place to order a shaft and what the price range one one of those bad boy?

I have one along with an extra foot pedal.  I believe the mod # was 742 They should all be interchangable and if you have a vise it's a job you can do.  It's used so don't expect new.  Snow build up on my boat cover started my trolling motor and it burned up.  These are the only parts I saved.  It's yours if you want them.  I sent you a Friend request so you can PM me.  I'll be on Whatcom Saturday.  Let me know if you want me to bring it.

It the Brute 67lbs. 767v model.  Thank guys.

This is how I fixed my motorguide..
