What are you guys doing to prevent moisture in your tackle boxes during the winter months if you don't store them inside? Plastics in particular are the problem; not with all but some seem to have more moisture than others and that is what I am fighting.

I use those desiccant packs from pills/jerky/shoes, etc... to keep my hooks and jigs dry, as well as a powdered rust inhibitor I got from a guy.  I get alot of those desiccant packs, so I double bag them in ziplocks and stockpile them.  If you ever drop your cell phone in your coffee cup, you can just throw it in the bag and it'l be dry by morning.  Even sucks moisture out of LCD displays and backup cameras (I've used it for all three:)  You can just toss them when done.

We fished in Cabo once and our guide had rice in the bottom of all his terminal tackle boxes.

Thanks, I for your reply. I may look into those packs.
