Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey, Folks. Son and I are heading to Tapps for the first time in a couple weeks for 2 days. Just have a couple of general questions. We have no problem putting in our time while trying for a Tiger Muskie, but I'm curious if there is any way to reduce the amount of water we try to cover? Deep or shallow, open or cover, all day or early/late, etc. If the fish are totally unpredictable, that info is valuable also. I'm also curious if overcast/rainy days are any more productive than fair weather.

Thanks in advance--feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Fish the docks and whatever weed beds you can find.  That cuts the water you fish at least in half.

Thanks, Craig....will do. We'll have all of our standard bass gear, some upsized cranks, etc., and some more "muskie sized" lures with wire and heavy fluoro leaders. I'm comfortable with our tackle, so it will be up to me to find the fish and hope they're in the mood to play. Appreciate your response.
