Motorized boat ban on all Whatcom Co. Lakes

This started as a ban on wake boats, which have been eroding the shoreline when being driven too close to shore.  At the time, I didn't think much of it, actually thought it might be a good thing, considering how annoying they can be, but now the county council is considering a motorized (all motorized) boat ban on Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish.  I've included the petition from change. org's website (allow fifteen minutes for Dana's diatribe).
