Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I was wondering if there were any good places to go shore fishing for some walleye around the eastern part of the state, or if you for sure need a boat any where you go.

I honestly have NO idea but would love to know! I have only fished for them 3 times. Got skunked once.  But we went in June to Moses lake and got a bunch!

i went out to porcupine bay for the opener and we got 12. just heard that they were biting like crazy now.

Well I think they are caught from shore around the Mardon Dock sometimes.  Especially when the Walleye are hovering around the net pens that get tied to the dock during the off season... As for right now I think the lake might be getting pretty locked up... Good Luck!

P.J. is right.  Now is the time to fish the Mardon Resort Dock on the Potholes Reservoir for big walleye.  Call the resort and ask for Mike Meseberg.  He'll give you the latest report.  There was a 14 1/2 lb. taken several weeks ago along with a fair amount in the 6-9 lb. range.  The big fish are most active at night.  Use blade baits, swim baits, & Skull Fish.  I have done well out on the reservoir from a boat as well, catching good fish from the end of November through February when and where you can find open water in the 20-28 ft. range.  I'd be there fishing tonight if I could!

what about banks lake and roosevelt? are them any good in th cold of winter?
