Moses lake Question

I was out pre-fishing Moses all weekend. I ran up North because I had never been up in that area. The farther north I drove, the more clumps of crud I saw. While fishing I could see mud clumps floating up to the surface, coming up from the bottom. At times I could always see at least one clump floating up. What the hecks the deal ? The North end will likely get pretty murky when those clumps break apart from all the boat traffic or wind I'd imagine. Is this normal for the lake ??

Thanks for your kind words, Chris.  I enjoyed meeting the guys last Wednesday....

I wouldn't worry too much about me beating anyone for awhile in WA....while I did win AOY twice in my MN club in the last 6 years, I kind of lost my competitive fire when my good fishing pal Tim up and died at the end of the season in 2014...I'm hoping a new venue will help put me back on track.

See you in June, if not before!

Jay

Chris, some of those fish are from Mayfield.

Chris, call Scap and Shirley at Transducer Shield and Saver for the price. My jackplate is bigger than yours so it will be different. Their phone number is 334-514-7147. They are fairly pricey because they are hand machined out of aircraft aluminum, and take a lot of labor; but they are worth every penny. Tell them I said hello.
