Lake Tapps south boat launch PARKING LOT has moved

The boat launch PARKING LOT has been moved to around the end of the lake.  The old parking around the corner is now parking for the Ballfield.  I personally have not seen it, but if your standing at the launch, and look past the end of the lake, you'll see a metal roof...that's where it is.  That's like over 100 yard walk I believe.  BRILLIANT MOVE!!!!!!

Senator Pam Roach at Lk Tapps 10/22/13

I was at Tapps fishing yesterday (10/23).  When we went in for the day, we noticed that there was a big "ta-do" at the boat launch park.  We ran into Senator Pam Roach, as well as Danny from Fish and Wildlife (and two others).  She told us that they were doing a study based on information gathered at the town meeting last month.  Apparently, she went out with WDFW people the night before and Electro-shocked up some fish, and also setup gill nets.  That morning, they were showing the results…

Opps...sorry didn't see the entire message you sent me and missed the end of it, yeah I been hitting Spanaway regularly only because its 5 minutes from my house and I got a launch pass so its just to easy to end up there lol. Fishing there can be decent to good in the spring and fall, right now Im lucky to get anything over 1.5 lbs. Seen a 5 to 6 pounder chillin next to a log last weekend but spooked him with my creeky old boat. Ive never been to Sawyer before, good fishing?
