FLW college bass fishing story

I got the chance to write another bass fishing story for the Skagit Valley Herald Sports & Outdoors section. Wasilewski and partner Cy Floyd managed a top-10 bag after a rough first day. They represented Eastern Washington University. The story is written for a general audience so I didn't get a chance to go in depth but I figured many of you would like to read…

Right now I don't if this will work, as I am semi-handicapped myself, but I would  like to try to take some of our HEROS fishing. I lived in Port Angeles, on the Straits, and I would like to start a"Wounded Warrior fishing program for the whole of WA. I don't think it would matter if its Bass (freshwater), Salmon, Halibut, bottom fish, or just a day in the outdoors or on the water! I am putting this out there to see what kind of response I get, I know People I am definitely taking out…

OK,OK, So some information isn't worth a ....  The Rufas Woods release does not measure up as advertized, seems to me that an average fish might go 2lbs, an I doubt it was over 2500 fish if that.  Its a shame that solid information is so hard to come by on that fishery, but thats just how it goes.  Walleye fishing on Rufas has slowed from the slamming start back in march, but early post spawn is often tough.  Still, a few nice fish are coming to the net, mostly on jigs, or craw…
