First fish early! put your boat in the water in the dark and be at your first spot as it is just STARTING to get light (just remember safety first, know your water and take a spot light if you need to). Try fishing places no other fisherman would place a lure! Places that may be hard to get a bass out of, but be prepared! In tournaments near the end of the day I look for places the bass have pulled back into. Places that are very hard to get into or get the bass back out of.
